TRILLA Writes: GROSS DISRESPECT: Inna Patty, “The Alleged Manipulative Queen And Pimp” Disrespects Without Rendering An Apology
I temporarily divorced social
media for days because I was busy with some research work and data analysis. I
once in a while spent at most 5 mins on social media and then go back to my
work. In order to clear my head after stressing my brains, I spent my precious
time at the SILVERBIRD CINEMAS enjoying some movies.
I haven’t published any story for
the past 4-5 days on my blog, TheManInYourMirror.Com likewise TrendinGh.Com (I am
a contributing writer at TrendinGh.Com). Moreover, I haven’t also made beats as
well due to the aforementioned reasons but hey I am back, I have come out of my
cave finally.
Fortunately I chanced on the
trending story, Inna Patty and the three former Miss Ghana Queens but I did not
give the story my precious attention until yesterday. I had wanted to take a
bite on this tasty cherry through my usual flamboyant write ups but I had to
follow the trajectory of “Audi Alteram Partem”. This is a Latin word which
simply means listen to the other side.
The three former Miss Ghana
winners, Stephanie Karikari (Miss Ghana 2010), Antoinette Delali Kemavor (Miss
Ghana, 2015) and Giuseppina Nana Akua Baafi (Miss Ghana, 2013) have all raised wild
fire allegations against Inna Party who is in charge of the Miss Ghana Beauty Pageant.
Miss Ghana which we all thought was
a beauty pageant is also an “Escort Agency” according to some of the queens. All
these allegations have placed on a dent on Inna Patty and the Miss Ghana brand
that she has spent resources to build over the past few years.
She has been in charge of Miss Ghana
for the past 5 years (I stand to be corrected) therefore it is evident that she
has been putting in much work and we commend for her that.
Now, injurious allegations have
been made to tarnish your brand and you have been given an opportunity to clear
the waters, you did not show up. Furthermore your phone was called a couple of
times, you decided not to answer the calls.
Yesterday it was prodigiously advertised
that she will be live on Okay Fm with Abeiku Santana for an exclusive
interview. She even posted the artwork on her Instagram page which clearly
shows that she accepted to be present for the interview in order to bring to bear
what really transpired between the former queens and her.
Drawing a conclusion after
listening to one side of the story will be insane that is why the opportunity was
given to her but blew it away with an unseen air coming from her mouth. In Law,
we have what we call “just cause” which simply means fair hearing. Therefore
even if you commit an offence, your side of the story must be heard.
I listened to the PRO of Miss Ghana,
Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo whom the transformer has grabbed on a couple of platforms,
Zylofon Media, Okay Fm and Hitz Fm to be precise. From his submissions, you
could clearly tell he has zero idea of what went down between the former queens
and Inna Patty. All that he iterated was “let’s wait for Inna Patty views” (paraphrased).
It was only today that he made a lengthy submission on Hitz Fm but still the
vital things that we wanted to know he could not bring them to light.
In view of the above, Inna Patty
is the right person to clear the dirt on the brand but she refused to show up
for the interview and also refused to answer her calls. If you know you are not
ready to talk, why then do you accept to an invitation from a reputable station
like Okay Fm and even share the artwork on your Instagram page and then ditch
them in the end.
The advertisement informed me she
will be there so I kidnapped my ears to the station for hours but she refused
to show up.
She has disrespected the radio station,
Abeiku Santana, producer(s) of the show, listeners and her fans (if she has any
by the way). We are all not perfect, yes because perfection is an illusion so
we will definitely do some wrongs. We have to learn how to apologize when we
wrong people, it is very necessary.
Up till now, I haven’t heard nor
seen any apology from her, not even through her PRO and that is very
disrespectful. If she has apologized to Okay Fm and Abeiku Santana in private
that is cool but rendering her apology publicly will be super cool because
there are other stakeholders involved in this. “Me think she will have to do that”.
Again I think we should not put pressure
on them (Inna Patty and her team) to issue a press release. Let us allow them
to solve some indispensable issues internally before they put out their press
statement.
Inna Patty is a fine woman and she
being my sugar mummy no go be bad…that’s on a lighter note and Oh Margaret Kuma-Mintah,
2013 Miss Ghana first runner up has also joined the bus of allegations. Ay3ka!!!
