If GBC Cant Face Competition In The Media Industry They Should Close Down - Edem
Edem who is currently promoting his new song titled Mighty Jesus which features Jayso and EL has joined the ongoing TV License discourse.
Ever since news broke out that Ghanaians are to pay their TV License, there have been diverse arguments. Special TV License courts have even been set up to prosecute those who default in payment.
Majority of Ghanaians have expressed disappointment at this initiative and indicated that they will not pay because GTV has not been serving them with any proper content. Some also indicated that they will not pay the TV License because they do not remember the last time they even watched GTV.
Edem who is also not elated about this initiative has in a tweet indicated that if GBC can't face stiff competition from other media houses, they should close down. He added that they are trying to find a smart way to siphon money from Ghanaians therefore that move is pathetic.
See his tweet below.
If national TV cant face the growing competition on the television or in the media industry please close down... Don't siphon money from us in the name of TV license.. Instead of spear heading the payment of royalties, u want to rip us off.. Such a shame— The African Answer (@iamedem) January 4, 2018
